WOW = WIPs On Wednesday
Anyhow, along the way of my workshops and classes I've somehow 'lost' 20x workshop tabletop iron covers. I make these so students can iron right at their table and I used to have 30 but have found myself with just 10. Where have I misplaced my missing 20 x ? Who knows. Lucky I checked before packing my car the night before a class because this means I have enough time to make up some extra today in preparation for my upcoming workshops, including AQC in April. That's less than a month away now. How exciting! I can't wait to be in a LE mood all over again. I'm really looking forward to sharing my enthusiasm with a whole new set of people!
What's Your WOW?
I am visiting my daughter in Wisconsin right now and shared some older quilts of mine that she has in her house and some not too old.
ReplyDeleteYou are such a great, generous teacher! How many layers are those pads? Maybe I should make one.
ReplyDeleteHow nice that you provide ironing pads. I, too, would be interested in how you make them: I could use one next to my paper piecing machine.
ReplyDeleteThose pads are a great idea. It probably speeds up class some since everyone isn't fighting over the ironing boards.
ReplyDeleteI'm with everyone else. What is your formula for making them?
ReplyDeleteSorry you are missing 20 iron table covers. You will be sure to find them after you make more.
ReplyDeleteOn that note, I love the idea and would love to know what you use to put them together. That would work out so much better for my block pressing at quilt retreats than having my table top ironing board next to me.
I would love to make me some of these.....what a useful item...
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments, I'll do a post on how I make mine - they're super handy and I wouldn't be without them now.
