WOW = WIPs On Wednesdays
So, I'm getting all my prep down to charge ahead through my Love Always quilt. It's such a gorgeous quilt that I'm making 3 of them. Yes, 3! I've been putting off making a start until ALL the fabrics had arrived so I could 'power' through them all at once. Then I realized that now might be the time to invest in a Brother Scan N Cut machine because there's so much fusible to be cut - having it done for me would be such a time saver. But then again, I feel they're too pricey and simply haven't done it yet. So, I've been working on Morning Glory until the time was right. I'm still undecided on that, but at least the backgrounds for my dark Love Always are lined up, ready to choose.
Which one will it be? Come back on Friday when I finally commit!
What's Your WOW?

Dear Esther
ReplyDeleteWhat a collection of backgrounds! Are they the one's you will be using with all the bright fabrics you have been collecting? Cannot wait to see your Love Always. My sewing room has too many projects, LE is not finished. So the difficult but right choice for me this year, finish a few of those projects. Only more got added with a wedding and a twenty first birthday quilt or two. Thank you for inspiring us all with your amazing work.
G'day Esther.
ReplyDeleteI would recommend you look at a Scan n Cut. I bought mine after making 'Heart's Desire' and used it to make ALL the applique for 'My Istanbul'. Once programmed it can cut many intricate pieces in minutes, (I love the way it cuts perfect circles of any size), it certainly saved my hands and the files are there if I ever want to make another quilt!
Hope this helps - Cheers Wendy.
