WOW: Metres of Bias..

WOW = WIPs On Wednesdays
Time for bias. Lots and lots of it. I can't decide which fabric (what's new, huh?) to use on Hold Onto Your Heart in the coming months, so I'm making tape out of the top three contenders. Yes, it means three times the work - but on the bright side, once you get into the swing of things, it usually starts coming together quicker than expected. And for the two tapes that don't make the cut - I'm sure I'll use them in another project. Bias tape in beautiful fabrics is something I can never have too much of.

  1. Dear Esther

    Just watching all the projects you are working on, is mind boggling! The aim this year to just get on top of all the one's that are works in progress. Trying to get to my Love Entwined. Almost there, just have to finish my youngest niece's 21st Birthday Quilt. Seeing all the finishes the last week, is so inspiring. Thank you for sharing all the projects, new and old.

  2. Good day Esther! From what I can see of your bias tape, I sure do like your fabric selection. And I see you are using one of those wool pressing pads. How do you like it? Happy Wednesday to you. ~smile~ Roseanne

  3. Esther, what kind of pressing mat are you using? It looks like a combination of a wool one with the handle of a June Tailor one.

  5. I love "peeking over your shoulder" in these blog photos, Esther! Even your pressing board is lovely with the painted vines on the handle. And of course, your willingness to do three times the work and prep multiple fabrics before deciding is why your finished projects come out so beautifully. Why settle for good enough when you might discover that a different fabric is absolutely perfect?
