Well, what a great weekend!
Of course I forgot to take my camera...like I always do....so for those of you who havent done a stencil workshop, it was great fun and quilting women are just the best company anyone could ask for - thanks to everyone who joined in.
As you know, the day just flew by. Please bring your finished work (and maybe some new inspirations?) to the next meeting...I cant wait to see them....

Flynn Under Heaven's Wings
Well this is what I spent my weekend working on. Like usual, I left it to the last minute and now I'm up putting the entry together. I've taken the all important consideration photo and will get down to some serious quilting in the morning...hopefully I'll be juried in!

Australian Quilt Show, Young Quilters Award MELBOURNE
I'm very happy and super proud to announce that my daughter came 1st place in the Young Quilters Award for her work, Love Tree.Here are some pics of her accepting her award, and posing for photographs with a Herald Sun Photographer.
Love Tree was inspired by Kilmt's curvy lines and use of gold
